Just finished reading a great book by Michelle Guiness called Woman - The Full Story. Guiness looks at women from Biblical times through to the present day, looking deep into her Jewish and Christian heritage. She explores Church and cultural attitudes and influences

(the misogyny of some of the Church Fathers was astounding) biblical texts, and shares the stories of women who served the Lord inspite of great opposition.

The other great thing is that she doesn't just look at the leadership thing, but also sexuality, women in the family, women in the workplace.

Its a life giving book, healthy, rounded, controversial to some perhaps, but definitely worthwhile reading for anyone wanting to explore the women in leadership stuff, or women in general...
